At the Oct. 21, 2025 adjourned session, the Vernon County Commission approved a contract for the Infantry Bridge Replacement. Commissioner John Shorten moved to approve the contract with West Plains Bridge & Grading LLC for the Infantry Bridge Replacement (BRO-R108001); Commissioner Cindy Thompson seconded and "all voted yes to approve," according to the record. The contract was signed by the commissioners.
