Public commenters praised Pasadena's short-range transit plan and outreach; council members supported transit investments but voiced concern about service frequency and the cost and availability of green hydrogen for a proposed fueling station.

Supporters told the council the short-range transit plan is well-researched and built on extensive outreach. Jeff Streloski, a board member of Keep Pasadena Moving and a tech commissioner, said Pasadena Transit consulted more than 1,300 people and emphasized safety and promotion of existing bike and transit routes. "Pasadena Transit talked to 1,300 people, had them fill out paper surveys, and these are people who use the system and who live here," he said.
