State Board of Accounts audit nearing completion; commissioners set next meeting for July 7

Auditor Melissa Gray presented the May 2026 Treasurer's Report and told the board that the State Board of Accounts audit was progressing well and expected to conclude within the next several days; she said an exit conference was anticipated during the second week of July. Gray also requested allowance for the Sheriff's ADP invoices to be paid through the utility claims process to avoid short vendor deadlines; commissioners approved that request.
