The committee approved adding four parcels totaling 63.29 acres (just over five acres of prime soil) to Steuben County's certified agricultural districts during the annual 30‑day inclusion period.

Marie Myers Shearing, speaking for the Planning Department, briefed the committee on the annual 30‑day inclusion period for certified agricultural districts and said the department received four parcels totaling 63.29 acres. "We had 4 parcels with a total of 63.29 acres, and a little over 5 of those were considered prime soil," Myers Shearing said.
