Jeff told the commission the warranty would be waived if the county kept the originally sized desks and that the 10-year warranty on lifting legs and bases is an important factor because replacement legs can cost several thousand dollars.
Commissioner Nathan Liger moved to approve "PO 7999 for $5,977.27 for the purchase of dispatch consoles and cabinets from Zybex," and the motion passed by voice vote. Staff noted Zybex's revised size and identified additional cable costs associated with corrected monitor specifications. Jeff also said architectural drawings from Tesarray will be used to confirm spacing before final ordering.
The board recorded that the overall bond-funded project remains below the original budgeted projection despite the adjustment, and staff will verify warranty coverage and surge-protection details before final installation.
