The Council discussed trash‑can timing and asked Attorney Lyndsey Ryan to draft an ordinance for the September meeting establishing time limits for curbside storage. Administrator Erin Braband presented sample policies from neighboring towns; the proposed draft would allow trash cans to be set out after 5 p.m. the day before collection and require their removal within 24 hours. The draft ordinance would provide one warning letter per calendar year; subsequent violations in the same year would be subject to a fine.
