The Chawanakee Unified School District Board of Trustees approved a three‑year adoption of Eureka Math 2 for 2026–2029 after a recommendation from the curriculum adoption committee. Katie Bethune told trustees the package includes teacher editions, three years of consumable student math books, professional development for teachers and manipulative kits for classrooms.
In related actions the Board unanimously approved course-title alignments to UC A–G and CTE standards, new courses for Minarets (including CC Political Science 2, Advanced Percussion and Guitar Ensemble) and an online Spanish book subscription for the 2026–27 year. Trustee Elisabeth Parish moved to adopt the math curriculum; Jack Thornburg seconded the motion, which passed on a unanimous vote.
