Multiple commissioners and community leaders offered personal remembrances. Vice Chair Doctor Lee and Commissioner Jacobs described Langley’s longstanding civic accountability and work mentoring youth, and Kevin McGovern, chairman of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, presented a plaque and urged the community to continue Langley’s work on behalf of young Black boys. The commemorative resolution will be delivered to Langley’s family.
