Senate passes bill to create certified medication-aid registry

Senator Costello, the senator from Mills, explained that House File 26 80 would require the Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing to establish a medication-aid certification registry on the department website so providers offering a department-approved MA exam can submit proof that an individual completed the exam. He said the registry will make it easier for employers to determine that a person is qualified and reduce process burdens for applicants.
