Avon council imposes temporary moratorium on Western Reserve development
Council members voted 7-0 on April 20 to adopt Ordinance No. 46-26, which amends Ordinance No. 120-25 to impose a temporary moratorium on future Western Reserve development under §1262.07 concurrently with an R-3 moratorium so the city can review applicable Ohio statutes and its codified ordinances.

The Avon City Council unanimously adopted Ordinance No. 46-26 at its April 20 special meeting to impose a temporary moratorium on future Western Reserve development under §1262.07, to run concurrently with an existing moratorium on R-3 development. The ordinance, which amends Ordinance No. 120-25 and includes an emergency clause, was passed 7-0.
