Grace Estates final plat approved; mayor and council stress developer commitments on water

Avon City Council authorized the final plat and approved the subdivider’s agreement for Grace Estates on April 13 by adopting Ordinance No. 38-26.
Mayor Bryan Jensen acknowledged that residents on both sides of the proposed development raised significant water-related concerns and told the developer the City Engineer and administration would ensure developer commitments on development methods and protections are fulfilled. "The developer must honor their commitments to protect both their development and neighboring properties," the Mayor said during discussion.
Council Member Scott Radcliffe thanked the developer for attending multiple meetings and for working with residents, and Council President Brian Fischer encouraged residents to contact Council if issues arise. The ordinance was adopted unanimously, with Council recording a 7–0 vote.
