County approves $119,369 dispatch paging upgrade using state and E911 funds
Pine County commissioners approved purchase of a Motorola paging console to enable paging across dispatch consoles; presenters said $50,000 of state funds are available and remaining costs are covered by existing E911 allocations.

The Pine County Board approved a dispatch improvement project to add paging capability across dispatch consoles. The sheriff told commissioners the project "is about a $120,000 project," and that there is "$50,000 of state money that's sitting there that we need to spend by the end of the month," with the remainder to come from existing E911 funding.
