Bond County Board approves bridge funding agreement, two appointments and routine reports
At its July 7, 2026 meeting in Greenville, the Bond County Board approved a joint funding agreement with IDOT for engineering on the Woburn Road Bridge replacement, appointed Brooke Weathers as County Clerk & Recorder and Rena Ward to the Board of Review, and approved routine financial and departmental reports.

The Bond County Board met in Greenville on July 7, 2026. Chairman Chris Timmermann called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m., led the Pledge of Allegiance and recorded a quorum of four members: Chris Timmermann, Wes Pourchot, Bernard Myers and Jeff Rehkemper (Jacob Rayl absent). The board approved minutes from the June 16, 2026 meeting, bills from Edit Reports dated June 17 and July 2, and the County Clerk's June 2026 report; each approval passed on recorded roll-call votes of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
