The Curry County Board of Commissioners opened a public hearing on annexation of property into the Ophir Rural Fire Protection District. No testimony was received. Vice-Chair Patrick Hollinger moved to approve annexation into the Ophir Rural Fire Protection District; Commissioner Lynn Coker seconded and the motion "Passed unanimously," according to the meeting minutes.
