Commissioners move large highway appropriations into maintenance accounts
The board approved transfers totaling more than $2.2 million between district primary accounts and highway maintenance and operations accounts for Districts 1', citing line-item adjustments in the highway budget.

Commissioners approved substantial transfers within the county highway budget on July 20, moving $682,373.08 from D1 primary into maintenance and operations, $653,411.99 from D2 primary, and $879,366.94 from D3 primary into their respective maintenance accounts. The motion by Commissioner Bickford, seconded by Commissioner Sledge, passed by unanimous vote.
