The North Bend School District board approved limits on the number of nonresident students it will accept for the 2024–25 school year, setting specific caps for each grade level. The adopted numbers are: Kindergarten 6; 1st 6; 2nd 7; 3rd 4; 4th 5; 5th 6; 6th 10; 7th 3; 8th 10; 9th 20; 10th 20; 11th 20; 12th 20. Director Dallas Petenbrink moved to adopt the limits; Director Michelle Roberts seconded. The motion passed 7–0.
