The Pendleton School District 16R Board of Directors unanimously approved a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Oregon School Employees Association Chapter 115 on May 11, 2026. Director Patrick Gregg moved to approve the agreement and Director Jill Pace seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Kevin Dinning, listed under the Human Resources item, described the proposed agreement as “the result of collaborative and good-faith negotiations aimed at maintaining competitive compensation for our classified staff while ensuring the long-term fiscal stability of the District.” The agreement covers the period from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.
Board members praised bargaining participants for their work. Director Mason Murphy noted the delicate balance required in talks and praised Dinning’s role in negotiations. The board did not record any dissenting votes. The agreement will be implemented beginning with the 2026–27 school year.
