The Spearman ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Oct. 16 to authorize the superintendent to establish a snack program for students at Gus Birdwell Elementary with a not-to-exceed total of $10,000. The motion was made by Board member Dustin Mackie and seconded by Vice President Stephen Batton; the vote was recorded as 7-0.
