Rolling Meadows launches yearlong Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan with CMAP assistance
CMAP planner Maddy Clowse announced a 12-month Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan funded by a CMAP Technical Assistance Grant; the plan aims for adoption as a Comprehensive Plan amendment in February 2027 and will be guided by a local working group.

Maddy Clowse, planner with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), told the Committee that Rolling Meadows received a CMAP Technical Assistance Grant to develop a comprehensive Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. The effort will assess gaps in the nonmotorized network and produce data-driven recommendations for infrastructure and policy changes.
