Commission approves multiple land development code amendments on first reading
On unanimous first readings, the Commission approved Ordinances 1841-26, 1842-26, 1843-26 and 1844-26 to revise developer agreement guidelines, modify the intensity matrix and zoning designations, update rules for public notices, and establish a qualified contractor certification review process.

The Altamonte Springs City Commission on June 2 approved on first reading several ordinances that revise portions of the Land Development Code and the Code of Ordinances. The items passed unanimously on first reading and are scheduled for second reading on June 16, 2026 where required.
