Pamela Mack, owner of Knotty Luxe and founder of the Knotty Luxe Foundation, told the City Council during open public comment that a proposed rollback of permitted hours for Class A liquor licenses would limit her business’s ability to host foundation activities in the restaurant after hours. "The Foundation uses the restaurant space for free after hours with the proposed changes to limiting the time," Mack said, and she added the restriction would negatively affect the foundation’s year‑round programming and operations amid staffing challenges.
