The Santa Gertrudis ISD Board voted unanimously to approve a 2026–27 transfer agreement with Ricardo Independent School District. Board member Jennifer Cash moved "Motion to approve the 2026-2027 Ricardo ISD Transfer Agreement," and Board member Carmen Falcon seconded; the motion passed 7–0.
