The Scurry-Rosser ISD Board of Trustees met in a special session on Aug. 12, 2024, to discuss the timeline for hiring a new superintendent. President James Moeller called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.; board members present were Bobby Bridges, Drew Sloan, Nancy Duggan, Phillip Burley, James Whittington and Michael Wagner, and guests included Joe Dan and William Smith of TASB.
