Sanitary engineer reported 98.53% support from property owners at a July 22 public hearing and asked commissioners to increase MS's construction-administration and inspection contract to carry the project forward; Gary Newbrow estimated the project at about $3.0–3.1 million.

Sanitary engineer Gary Newbrow told commissioners the July 22 public hearing on the household sewer connection project produced near-unanimous support: "98.53% of the property owners were in support of the project," he said, and only one resident spoke in opposition. With hearing results in hand, staff requested an increase to MS's contract to cover construction administration and inspection for the remainder of the project.
