David Stevens of the Thumb Area Regional Community Corrections briefed the board on a new online grant application process and asked the counties to approve participation in the FY 2026 application. He said the region received $335,000 in total funding in the current year and described plans to request significantly more funding for programming and administrative oversight; Stevens noted differences in county referral patterns and the importance of court and probation referrals to program utilization.
