Council authorizes RFP for seepage testing as DEQ-backed water study proceeds
The council approved a motion directing staff to prepare an RFP for seepage testing on Cell A and the storage pond. Council heard that DEQ will cover half of the water study cost using ARPA funds and that an environmental study will accompany any project.

Newdale council members authorized staff to solicit proposals for seepage testing on Cell A and the city storage pond. Shayne Hansen moved that Dick Dyer prepare a Request for Proposal to conduct the seepage testing; Raymonda Furness seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
