Consultant presents draft Comprehensive Plan updates, council posts draft online for comment

Eli Mulberry, a BHC consultant, joined the June 2 meeting virtually and presented draft updates to South Cle Elum's Comprehensive Plan. "He went through the seven elements of the Plan, new state requirements and housing elements," and told attendees the draft is posted on the town website with a link to submit comments.
Council members asked several questions about the draft and state requirements; Mulberry encouraged residents to review the full draft online and leave feedback through the town's comment link. No formal adoption occurred at the meeting; the presentation was informational and the council invited public feedback as the draft moves forward.
