The Tama County Board of Supervisors approved a temporary liquor license July 27 for the Double D Rodeo, scheduled for August 7–8, 2026. Supervisor Curt Hilmer moved for approval and Supervisor Curt Kupka seconded; the minutes record a unanimous vote.
