Staff presented the sixth and final amendment to the 2025–28 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), describing three new projects and six revisions.
"So our new projects were Lawrence Loop 7th Street to Constant Park, the City Of Lawrence intersection of 23rd and Massachusetts Street project, and then a guardrail safety improvement project, sponsored by Douglas County," Jeff said while outlining the TIP changes and where to find the full draft on the MPO website. The amendment was released for a 15-day public comment period from July 9–24; staff reported receiving no public comments during that window.
Board members asked whether the amendment explicitly labeled program additions versus revisions; staff said new projects appear as "new project" entries while revisions are labeled as such. The policy board moved, seconded, and recommended approval by roll call; staff will post final TIP materials and follow up with project sponsors for any outstanding updates.
