District Counsel and staff briefed the Board on newly adopted state legislation (HB7013) requiring special districts to establish and report annual goals, objectives and performance measures. Staff identified Community Communication and Engagement, Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance, and Financial Transparency and Accountability as the initial key categories for Fiscal Year 2025.
