The City Council approved Resolution #2026-2 amending the IHDA Homeowner Assistance Fund "Home Repair Program" grant for Chicago Heights. Chief of Staff Karen Zerante reported "an additional grant award to the City for funds estimated at $416,000," which the council approved by unanimous vote (Ayes: Smith, Rodgers, Baikauskas, Brassea, Zaranti, Merrick; Absent: Perez).
