The Wood River Rural Schools Board of Education convened a special workshop at the Superintendent's Office on May 27, 2026, opening at 7:04 a.m. and adjourning at 9:06 a.m. Board member Craig Huxtable opened the meeting and recognized the Nebraska Open Meetings Act. Present were trustees Tyler Doane, Dylan Gill, Craig Huxtable, Jodi Rauert, Nick Rennau and Crystal Stutzman and Superintendent Zessin.
