Monroe council adopts shared‑ride fare increases starting Jan. 1, 2025

The City of Monroe Common Council adopted a resolution revising the shared‑ride taxi fare schedule, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The adopted schedule sets a base fare of $4.25 with a proposed $0.25 annual increase for four years; youth/student fare is set at $2.50 with biannual 25¢ increases, senior and disabled fare at $2.25 with biannual increases, additional passengers $2, package delivery $10 and agency trips $8. The resolution also removes a previous late‑night fare differential.
