Drexel School staff presented a video showcasing the school's structured instructional program during the Sept. 10 Cicero School District 99 board meeting at Drexel School. Principal Ted Henley welcomed the board and described the program as an example of close staff–student collaboration; he also pointed out student Julio's artwork that was displayed for the board to view.
Superintendent Dr. Calderin thanked staff and the Board of Education for their work in providing an adequate learning program for all students and noted the presentation as illustrative of district efforts to support diverse learners. The presentation was part of the Superintendent's Report and preceded routine informational items and staff recognitions.
