Clark County approves $800,000 cybersecurity contract and network support purchase

Commissioner Charles A. Patterson moved to authorize a contract with Secure Cyber Defense, LLC, allocating up to $800,000 (Board of County Commissioners) and $250,000 (Sheriff’s Office) for network security and monitoring management from the General Fund, effective April 15, 2026 through April 14, 2029.
The board also approved a $45,420 contract with MNJ Technologies Direct, Inc. to provide management and support for network equipment, effective April 9, 2026 through Feb. 28, 2027. Both motions passed unanimously. The county clerk was authorized to execute related purchase orders.
