Fair facilities staff told the board that pedestal and panel work completed before the fair expanded vendor power capacity and prevented any power outages. The presenter said the team built new cords and rebuilt pedestal tops, and partnered with Menomonie Electric to rebuild panels rather than accept a previously estimated $17,000 contractor bid.
