Hays council authorizes RFQ/RFP to seek engineering help for FEMA hazard-mitigation projects
The council approved authorization to issue a requests-for-qualifications/request-for-proposals seeking engineering services to pursue FEMA public-assistance and hazard-mitigation funding, coordinating with Texas Division of Emergency Management and the Texas Water Development Board.

At a special meeting on Aug. 4, the presiding official introduced and the council approved a motion authorizing the City of Hays to issue a requests-for-qualifications/request-for-proposals (RFQ/RFP) for engineering services to pursue federal and state hazard-mitigation and public-assistance funding.
