The ELCO CAB moved to support Commission Policy 24, a regulation update affecting how hunting opportunities are apportioned among weapons and hunter groups, including new prioritization for junior applicants. Scott Roberts of the Department of Wildlife told the CAB the draft prioritizes an antlered‑deer tag first and then a doe‑antelope opportunity for juniors, and describes a proposed 50/50 apportionment after last year’s 75% junior allocation.
