Town staff: grant-tracking tool near completion; permitting process to be digitized

Town staff told the Rangely council they are rolling out a grant-tracking system and revamping the building-permitting workflow.
"The grant tracking system is almost complete. It should be up and running this week," Jonah (S3) said, describing an Airtable-based tool that will give the council a public-facing interface to view active projects and key performance indicators. He said the town will share an interface and data with the council by the next board meeting.
Staff also said they have begun stakeholder outreach to redesign the building permitting process, including county inspectors and local permit applicants who previously had difficulties. The council asked follow-up questions about the interface and data access; staff said board members would be able to view but not edit the tracker.
