Board adopts outbreak-investigation, payroll and language-access policies
The Vernon County Board of Health reviewed and approved a Foodborne and Waterborne Outbreak Investigation policy, a Health Department payroll policy, and a contract with Language Line Solutions with an accompanying Language Barrier Policy.

The board reviewed three departmental policy items and approved each by motion during its Feb. 11 meeting. Frank Easterday moved to approve the Foodborne and Waterborne Outbreak Investigation Policy and Procedure; Sherrie Seidel seconded and the motion passed with 'All ayes.' Later in the meeting the board accepted the Health Department payroll policy (moved by Seidel, seconded by Lonnie Muller) and approved contracting with Language Line Solutions along with a Language Barrier Policy (moved by Easterday, seconded by Duane Koons).
