Senate Bill 2,155 (sponsor Senator Watson) would establish the Tennessee Commission for Insurance Review to hear complaints and conduct informal hearings related to insurance enforcement and policy disputes. Senator Watson told the committee, "This creates the Tennessee Commission for Insurance Review for the purpose of reviewing complaints related to and enforcing the requirements of insurance and insurance policies," and said the commission would be required to cooperate with the Department of Commerce and Insurance and is scheduled to sunset on 06/30/2028.
