Trustees order camera inspection and pre-classification for Drainage District 4
Summary

During the July 7 continued hearing, trustees debated whether to spend funds on a camera survey versus directing work toward improvements. Trustee Dan Friedrichsen asked that money be conserved for improvements, but trustees voted to proceed with both technical steps to better inform assessments.
Moved by Friedrichsen and seconded by Thomas, trustees directed Bolton & Menk to prepare an unofficial pre-classification report (estimated ballpark cost $10,000). Separately, moved by Nancy McDowell and seconded by Vanden Hull, trustees directed the firm to run a camera of the main tile from roadways and ditches as feasible without damaging farm ground; both motions carried by all ayes.
