Leader Johnson told the committee that S.B. 15-86 is the legislature's annual codification bill, intended to compile laws enacted in the previous session and correct caption defects without making substantive changes. He noted the bill is voluminous and available on the General Assembly's website for public inspection.
"This is the bill that codifies all of the legislation that we passed in last year's legislative session... It also cures any defects in any of the captions," Johnson said. With no questions from members, the committee voted 8-0 to place S.B. 15-86 on the committee calendar.
