Comanche County commissioners authorize P-cardholder, stamp use and appoint requisitioning officers

During the April 27 meeting the board approved administrative housekeeping actions: Krystal Chiddix (District 3) was designated as a purchase cardholder with a $5,000 limit effective April 27, 2026; the board confirmed existing P-cardholders for county operations. The board also authorized Ashley Taylor and Corinne Owensby to use the commissioners’ signature stamps for Board of County Commissioners documents, with the exception of contracts and agreements, and allowed county clerk and bookkeeping staff to use the stamps for consent-agenda items.
Additionally, resolutions were approved appointing Johnny Owens and Corinne Owensby as requisitioning officers and Ashley Taylor as receiving officer for Fund 1301 (County Use Tax M&O), Account 1301-1-8020-2005. These actions were recorded on the consent agenda and were approved as part of the commissioners’ motions.
