Residents press council on Serembi traffic study, developer influence and ethics enforcement

During the public-comment period residents raised concerns about the Serembi/Serendi hamlet expansions, safety on multiuse trails (including golf-cart accidents), and the completeness of required traffic-impact studies. Debbie Kelso pointed to a November 7, 2024 rezoning (24-059) that included condition 14 requiring a comprehensive traffic-impact study; she said the study filed on February 27, 2025 covered only limited intersections and not the hamlet in its entirety and therefore did not satisfy the council condition within the four-month deadline.
