Supervisor David Ferguson questioned how much weight the Planning Commission's rankings should have in setting the county's Capital Improvement Plan, saying he was "not comfortable with Planning Commission deciding this list and then the Board feels obligated." Supervisor Dotson and Chairman Tim Taylor replied that the Planning Commission offers subject-matter expertise and can align projects with the Comprehensive Plan.
