The Hearst Free Library Board of Trustees convened at 10:12 a.m. on May 4, 2026, with Trustees Marsha Miller and Bobbie Frank present and three trustees absent. Director Sam Walters noted that Maureen Parrow, Connie Sheahan and Kurt Wyant were unable to attend, and with no quorum present the board did not take any votes, including on approval of the minutes.
