At the Jan. 28 special meeting the Nobles County Board approved multiple updates to the 2026 county fee schedule, including changes proposed by Environmental Services. The board voted to revert Environmental Services fees to the 2025 levels for certain permits — specifically, land‑use permits and grain‑bin permits at $150 — remove the previously proposed $250 'Feedlot Inventory' fee, and add a $60 per‑test fee for commercial pesticide and commercial animal‑waste license testing.
