A sheriff's office representative (speaker 7) told the board the county jail population had increased to 53 inmates. "Unfortunately, it's at 53," the speaker said, and provided a breakdown: "Current number of males is 48" and "Current number of females is 5." He added that 49 were being held for district court and 4 for municipal court, and that total arrests for the week were 18; one juvenile remained in custody.
