GIS Manager Zakk Hess provided the Government Operations Committee with his annual report on April 9, highlighting several technology and mapping initiatives. He described a digitized community resource guide for Mental Health being developed for the county, said he will revisit park mapping across towns and villages, and noted a planned demonstration at the Town of Huron board meeting.
Hess also reported ongoing work on the county’s CAD system, saying he has met with Tyler and expects to gain server access in the near future. He is collaborating with the Land Bank on two new resources and will finalize which data are included for Wallace Foundation planning.
